Introduction: Our job as a class is solely to investigate the case of Andrew Jackson. Andrew Jackson as a president was known for changing democracy or being a man of democracy. We as a class will use evidence from DBQ documents to investigate Andrew Jackson and his decisions as president. Did Andrew Jackson use the role of the presidency to give democratic power to the people or for himself and his friends? The case is yours to solve.
